The International students House at ISU organizes an Orientation week to welcome all of the new international students that have come to study at ISU. Orientation week is held the week before the start of semester. The first day is when we all got our paperwork together, received our keys for our dorms, got all of our visas and other necesarry documentation in order etc. After you're done, you will be shown to your room with the help of an RA (Resident Advisor)...

Top o' the morning to you all! It's day 3 in America. I am at the Baymont Inn & Suites in Normal-Bloomington, Illinois. I arrived here yesterday after a 2,5 hour bus trip. I went to Walmart to buy a converter for my electronic devices since I brought the wrong one with me. Highlight of my day: WENDY'S! Finally!

Food morning! So here I am, back on American soil. Oh, how I've missed this country. Nothing beats the smell of scrambled eggs & pork sausages in the morning. I traveled from Amsterdam to Washington yesterday and then took a connecting flight to Chicago (O'Hare).
