Food morning!
So here I am, back on American soil. Oh, how I've missed this country. Nothing beats the smell of scrambled eggs & pork sausages in the morning.
I traveled from Amsterdam to Washington yesterday and then took a connecting flight to Chicago (O'Hare). I arrived at 6.31 PM (local time ; there's a 7 hour difference with the Dutch time) and by 7.04 PM I was in my room at the Springhill Suites by Marriot.
I had a great day of travels, I flew for about 12 hours to reach my final destination.
I got to the hotel, ordered some room service, watched some tv and crashed.
And thennnn.. The nightmare called JETLAG knocked on my door and didn't leave. Lovely, just lovely!
Today I woke up, went downstairs, had breakfast, packed my suitcases again and left for the bus center at Chicago O'hare.
As we are speaking (or me typing and you reading), I'm traveling by a nice and luxurious bus from Chicago to Normal-Bloomington. The best thing about this bus? Free WiFi! To me thát's the American Dream!
We left at 10.15 and I'll arrive at 12.55 PM in Normal.
I think that's it for now. I'll blog later if I see anything interesting during the bus trip.
