The West Lake Today we set out with Mandy and Mr Ding to go first to the West lake. There are 36 'west lakes' on the edge of Chinese city's but apparently they are all imitations of this one. It's very large and split in to 3 separate sections. Arrival in Hangzhou Our flight was pretty painless, although delayed by around an hour, and we arrived at The Holiday Inn, Hangzhou in the late afternoon/early evening. The Holiday Inn Whilst still not quite as good as the room at the Bravo in Guilin, this is the closest we've come to it since then.
