Because of the situation in Zim, we had a bit more time in Malawi so went and checked out a game park that neither George or Tash had been to before. Interesting drive there, the road into the National Park wasn´t really built for safari trucks so lots of yelling out "branches" then ducking so you didn´t get hit through the windows.
There was a french family at the camp spot when we pulled up and they didn´t look to happy that they no longer had a quiet spot to themselves. The campspot was right next to Lake Kazuni where there were lots of hippos and there were also lots of baboons running around. Went for a walk to the lakes edge barred with sticks to check out the hippos. Then that afternoon we went on a game walk through the park with a guide. Got to see some elephants down by the lakes edge, and was a whole different experience not being protected by a vehicle.
Could hear the elephants that night before we went to bed, so we burned some elephant poo outside our tents as apparently they don´t like the smell of their own s***. Love the feeling of camping in the wildlife.
