Next day it was across the boarder to Malawi, which is the 3rd poorest country in africa. It is illegal to change money on the boarder, so Tash arranged for this man to come onto the truck before we crossed the boarder to change our money. Felt a bit like out of a movie with this guy dressed up in a suit carring s*** loads on money in his jacket.

First stop was on the lakes edge at chitmba. Lake Malawi is really pretty, the sand is white and the water is really clear, feels more like at the ocean as you can´t see the horizon. Went for a run with Cara, Alex, and Ash, first run in 3 months and definatly felt it. And what made it really annoying is the local kids run along with you trying to sell you things and are not the slightest bit puffed.

After dinner it was a late night at the bar trying out some local shots.
