Hey y'all!! we're in New York and absolutely shattered due to the fact that we've both got noisy dorms and we spent the whole day yesterday walking round Manhattan, dodging smoking pot holes and crazy yellow cabs! Last night we went to watch a basketball match at Madison Square Gardens (yeah the nicks rule!) and even though was a women's game (New York Liberty V Washingtons Mystics) it was really cool. We're off to see the statue of Liberty today via Greenwich Village in the hope of bumping into Carrie and the girls for some lunch! Feel like Carrie now actually writing up my journal in Manhattan!! Went to Washington Square and walked around Greenwich Village in the beating sun. Ground zero was emotional and getting a ferry to the statue of Liberty was really cool. We walked around Wall St and over Brooklyn Bridge at night and by the end of the day we were again feeling shattered!! Anyway! Thanks for all you messages.
