Our last night in Bangkok went out with... well a bang! After 7 months of being dragged to watch football match after football match I got my own back, with a lady boy cabaret show. Dave refused to go, so I dragged Dan with surprisingly little kicking and screaming off. The show was fantastic! It was hilarious in places, but mainly it was a well done show, with really beautiful dances. Dave agreed to meet us after the show for drinks. When we eventually met up with him he looked a little worse for wear. He had found himself a tuk tuk and was a little concerned when the driver kept calling him a bad boy, but it didnt really register until he had been dropped of and he found himself in a Lady boy red light district, being told he would be loved long time. He quickly got himself out of there (or so he says) and eventually met up with us. The night then proceeded to consist of copious amounts of beer and the odd bucket thrown in for good measure. The following morning we did some last minute shopping, then spent a good amount of time trying to find space for all our purchases in our bags. Dan and I decided to get ourselves a massage, while Dave slept off his hangover. Our massage was fantastic, Dan struggled to relax to start with, which his woman found hilarious and kept shouting at him. She was also shocked by just how soft his hands were, until I explained to her how he doesn't work hard enough to get them dirty! After an hour we came out really relaxed and ready for our 12 hour flight. Our flight was pretty uneventful. We were a little concerned we might have Gary Glitter on our plane. Dave was convinced if he was, our plane would get shot down, I was more concerned about all the paparazzi that would be waiting. Thankfully he was shipped off to Hong Kong, so we escaped all the excitement. Before we knew it we had landed in Heathrow and were being greeted by some emotional, yet happy to see us parents, even if mine were in the wrong terminal! When we were all eventually together we headed off to Daves for a fantastic brunch and had our first taste of real cheese in a long time! So there it is 7 months, 9 countries, 4 suits, a ridiculous amount of art and 1 tattoo later, the 3 of us are back where we started; unemployed, best mates planning our next trip!
