We well and truly pampered our aching bones in the spa before ending up to the bar for a few pints.

The following day we made our way to Auckland, where us girlie's participated in some much needed retail therapy before hitting the town. Lets just say we made the most of the cheap drinks and fascinated locals with our tropical way of speaking. We excited a couple of girls by saying we had come up from the South Island but when they heard we were actually from England it just got too much for them (I think its all this 100% pure air!!)

Today we paid for the cheap drinks!! Death and I are quite good friends now even if it did take me most of the day to fight him off! We made our way to Paihia today which is a really lovely seaside town where it's surprisingly warm!
