A belated Happy New Year to all! We spent New Year's Eve in Phnom Penh, Cambodia celebrating French style with our new friends Elida and Thibault, whose parents we met whilst trekking in Laos. We left Cambodia Jan 2nd and have spent the last two weeks working our way up the coast from the Mekong delta to Hanoi. Saigon (HCMC) was crazy, so we needed a few days at the beach! We blew the budget in Hoi An - tailors and art galleries everywhere... It's a good job the baguettes are good here, as it'll be dry bread for the rest of the month!
