So, i'm at singapore airport about to get a flight to cairns, which i am very excited about! Met a girl at ther hostel who is also flying to Cairns tonight, so i already have a buddy! had a great time in Singapore...stayed in a hostel called Hangout that provided us with free internet, tea and coffee 24hours/day and breakfast, what more could you ask for..well the breakfast did mean getting up at 9am but i coped. So the first day, i arrived in sinagpore at 8am (12am UK time) after almost missing my flight. (thanks Karen and prinz and Oscar for getting me through the M25 traffic just literally in the nic of time...Singapore was hot, about 31 degrees so extreme to someone whos come from cold england.. i managed to fit in a night safari and a trip to the botanical gardens which felt like a 6 mile walk away from the hostel which involved checking out all the lovely shops on Orchard Road and Sushi for lunch...anyway my internet time is about to run out so i will add pictures and more updates asap.
