Had a lie in and woke up at 7am which was bliss. We drove for 2hours before arriving in Swakopmund at a hostel, Amanpuri, where we were going to stay at for 2 nights….finally a bed!For the next 2 days nothing was really scheduled in so we booked some outdoor activities and went straight away for skydiving.It was great fun as everyone cheered each other on, even the ones who came to watch ended up jumping off the plane at 10,000 feet with a freefall of 5,000 fee...

The day began at 430am to climb the biggest dune in the world…dune 45 from where we saw the sunrise.After breakfast at the bottom of the dune, we went for a 3 hour long bushwalk with Frances who is very knowledgeable about everything to do with the desert!Quite entertaining as well with his dancing skills and clicking! 30 of us packed onto the back of a pick up and drove off back to our trucks after which we headed backed to our camp site to pitch down our tent...

We had a long day of driving covering just over 500km! We stopped of for lunch by the road side near a huge tree covered by an enormous nest.Had a really nice Mexican salad.We reached our campsite Sesriem, in Namib-Naukluft Park where we had a hot shower for the first time that week….felt soo good.Yet again had an early night!

Today we crossed the river into Namibia….the scenery changed to seeing a lot more rocks & mountains but very little green!We drove to Ai-ais hot water springs where we were expecting natural springs like lake bogoria but instead found a spa with warm water so we had a dip while the guides prepared lunch which consisted of sandwiches.We drove for another 2 hours to our campsite, Hobas.We pitched our tents and then went of to the Fish River Canyon, the second...
