30th April-5th May On the 30th we got to Queenstown around 10.30am and drove to the site where we wanted to stay and to our luck they said we could check in then. 28th-30th April From Wanaka to Arrowtown we followed the scenic route along the Crown Range Road, going through the Crown Range would you have guessed! The summit which the road drove through was 1076m. It was a windy up and down mountain road but it had beautiful views of the mountains! 26th-28th April Fox glacier to Haast was about a 2 hour drive. I had to give up trying to drive after about an hour as my hangover was getting worse and my head was pounding! So I retreated to the passenger seat to feel sorry for myself! The rain was so horrendous all morning so we had to drive with even more caution. 24th- 25th April We stopped at Hokitikia on the way to Franz Josef and spent some time in a computer shop sorting our pics out and doing some research for Auz.
