Hi All!

Another blog sooner than expected now, as we only left a short and sweet message yesterday after the despair of spending nearly 3 hours in an internet cafe trying to sort out flights to Goa which left us both in desperate need for alcohol!

Staying at in lovely hotel here - so much nicer and quieter than Delhi although we have a number of new animals pottering the street which now include cows, goats, monkeys, pigs and dogs! Treked up to a temple today know as 'Monkey Temple' which true to its name had loads of monkeys lining the walk way up there with the usual array of every other animal under the sun! Beautiful views of Jaipur from the top and I had some henna done on my arms and hands whilst we were there as well as bindis, so maybe might be starting to look like a traveler now! Henna smelt lovely, and think I've got the bug now as want some more doing when we get to Goa!

Been all around the city today, seeing the sights with a helpful rickshaw driver including the pink city (old city of Jaipur which is all pink!) the city palace, hawa mahal, water palace and the monkey temple. Had a great day out, ending it at a roof top cafe with a fire bucket next to us drinking massla chai which is yummy!

Heading to Ajmer tomorrow but only briefly before getting the bus to Pushkar were we are spending 4 / 5 days. Looking forward to a smaller chilled out place which is based around a sacred lake where the piligrims come to bathe.

Sorry to all those who are expecting photos - internet cafe don't have great technology here and don't think I have seen a usb slot yet on a computer but we will keep searching and hopefully have some pictures for you all soon!

Maybe off the radar for a few days as unsure as to whether Pushkar has any interent access..... however, fingers crossed I will be eating my words!

ps saw my first elephants today pottering the streets and snake charmer with rattle snakes! Quite a scary sight!!
