Wanting to venture a little of of town today, we decided to hire a bicycle. Tom rode the whole way with Rachael sat above the back wheel in true Asian style. We rode east out of Hoi An for about 5 flat kilometres and arrived in the neighbouring town, which had lots of expensive hotels and the most stunning beach we had ever seen. We stayed in the town for a little while but as only Vietnamese could put their bikes anywhere near the beach (forcing tourists to pay parking fees for their bicycles) we didn't hang around long. The bike only cost 35p for the whole day hire! It was now approaching lunch time anyway and getting far too hot we decided to set off back.

That afternoon we booked our bus to Hue for tomorrow and spent the rest of the day as we did yesterday, drinking, eating and reading.
