Today had an event filled itinerary which included rock climbing and a cricket match at the MCG.

We really warmed to the hostel and found they even offered free trips out (which went down really well with Tom). So we booked on a trip for the morning to a climbing wall, not really knowing what to expect we boarded the hostel minibus and were pleasantly surprised. It has to be said the Australians are good with providing outdoor activities, and the minibus took us to a free public climbing wall located under a passing motorway, it was great. We really got involved and was a great laugh!

In the afternoon we went to a day/night cricket match at the MCG as Tom wanted to see the ground. The match was OK but there weren't many people there, less than a thousand and the ground holds 90,000+ we think! Would have been good to watch an Ozzie rules match but they're only in winter.
