The big plan for today was to ride the railway to the end of the line about 2 hours away then get a bus further north to the "Hell Fire Pass Museum", returning on the bus. The train ride was pretty cool, got to see some great scenery, just over two hours later arrive at Nam Tok. Feeling hungry we got lunch and unfortunately it turned out by doing so missed the last bus north 1.15pm, unbelievable. With no other options we hung around until 3.15 and got the train all the way back! As we arrived back the night market was setting up so we agreed to return later.

We went to pickup our much needed washing, and now realised why she insisted on our money upfront (finding it odd originally). Nicely ironed, all our writes now were blue, shocking, it wasn't even worth complaining, there was no chance we'd get a penny back.

Returning to the market that evening Tom had the cheapest beer so far in Thailand, and picked up a pair of shorts.
