This was our final day in the highlands so we decided we would try and complete as many trails as possible. We got up nice and early and thankfully the typically British weather we are experiencing here was on our side, after a torrential down pour all night. The route started as our 9A route had two days earlier but after a short while branched off up a steep incline. We climbed for maybe 20 minutes (hands and feet) but little did we know how much more of this there was to come, we just kept going up and up, over and under trees which had fallen over, and a one point both removing attached Leaches from our hands, FUN!

Four hours later we managed to reach the end of the trail but unfortunately we were still a good distance from the town. We felt absolutely knackered but were force to contend with another hour of the torment.

We arrived back early afternoon very proud of ourselves and Rachael managed to grab a little kip. We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening watching movies and drinking tea as there is nothing else to do.

We really enjoyed the highlands, its been nice to get out and do some exercise. Tomorrow we are leaving to the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur!
