After an early night last night we woke around 07:30 to find hotel staff at our window which didn't go down! This wasn't a good start as we were unconvinced about the place we were staying anyway. It was then made worse by finding we had no water to have a shower! A bit stressed-out over the hotel we decided to have a think over breakfast. We spent the next hour looking around the town for other places to stay. Then we arrived back at the hotel, still no water, after persistent nagging and being told "ten more minutes, ten more minutes", 5 hours later the water returned.

On a brighter note, we've found somewhere with decent internet and a generator (currently having at least six hours a day without power) so we can hopefully get Skype working in the next few days.

In the evening Tom got dressed-up in his new "Indian whites" and we headed for the daily curry, when a storm broke from every direction. We ate our meal with the sky alight, and as we finished the rain finally came. Storms here are so cool! Thankfully got back relatively dry, although this meant every shutting at around 21:00, the "Indian whites" already covered in mud.

Thanks for all the messages via the message-board and email, its been really nice to hear the support. Trying to reply to as many as possible but as the internet is so slow here and we're lucky if the power isn't lost during a session, emails can be difficult but keep them coming!
