After quite a busy day yesterday, we choose too see one more of the sights today, the National museum, it held a selection of artefacts from the Khmer Empire. When we were walking to the museum, the sky turned very grey, we arrived hoping a good downpour would cool things down a bit.
We spent about an hour wandering around listening to the rumbles of thunder from outside. After the museum we walked further into town as we knew the "happy hours" were about to start! With it now being just after lunch, we decided to make the most of it and have a few cheep beers while waiting for the storm to pass. Feeling tired after our afternoon drinking, we headed back to the guesthouse for an afternoon nap, en route traded in a book and picked up the Vietnamese Lonely Planet ready for our visit next week.
In the evening we returned into town for some tea, splashed out a little, Tom enjoyed a Khmer dish, and Rachael a Vietnamese dish. Returning again to the guesthouse we sat with Mel and Amy had had a few drinks that evening and had an early night.
