Met a German girl called claudie today, waiting for the bus from the hostel to town, I asked her what she was doing today and she said going to the lighthouse, that was my plan too so we walked it together, good job really it was a bit of a trek, through basically rain forest in some parts!Was worth the walk when we got to the lighthouse at the top of the hill, got an ice cream and sent a postcard home. The beaches in Byron Bay are beautiful, on the way back we stopped on the beach and went in the sea, the waves where so powerful.

On the walk back claudie asked me if i like twilight, i replied of course, and that there is a cinema here. We ended up going to see breaking dawn and getting a pizza afterwards which was nice.

Back to the hostel to pack for me. Had 2 sisters from Texas in my room they were lovely, went out to the Buddha bar with them for a drink.
