Hi !

Finially got here after a stressfull 10 hour bus journey and a bus change in Guatemala City. The city look a lot like San Christonble but a lot more quiter. After we checked into the hostle we booked ourselves onto that afternoons trip to climb Volacno De Agua. Thats the one in the photo above.

Ahh Just got back from the volcano climb, was amazing but such hard work. We arrived at the bottom of the volcano at about 3 and took us around 3 hours to get to the top, was a lot of hard work. The veiws on the way up were stunning, you could see all of the city as well as the sorrounding volcanos. On the hour bus journey to the volcano we made friends with 2 American guys on the bus who spent most of the day feeding us dried fruit and shared their marshmellows with us when we got to the top. We got to toast marshmellows on sticks over the hot rocks and lava at the top of the volcano ! Easily one of the strangest things I´ve ever done ! Walk back down was a bit screay, as the rocks moved a lot and it was getting dark quickly. I´ve got plenty of bruses and cuts to prove this !

After a quick shower at the hostel we headed out for dinner with the American guys we met on the volcano trip. Was nice to hang out with some new people.
