Today we got up for the free breakfast at 8am and then we went back to sleep again. The swelling around my eye has gone down now so it looks much better today. I am so pleased. We got up around 11am as the cleaners came in. We had some lunch and then went to Westpac as Gina opened a bank account in Cairns and they were going to send her bank card to Townsville. The bank said they weren't sending it until tomorrow. Then we had a walk around the shopping mall and went to the harbour. It's a bit overcast today and even rained this morning so its much cooler. Then we went back to the hostel and booked our accommodation for our next stop in Airlie Beach. We also spent ages phoning up loads of travel agencies to book our Whitsundays sailing and Fraser Island package. We wanted to get on a boat on Friday but they were all booked up. We managed to get on a boat for Saturday which was really good. All packages are getting really booked up now so we are lucky to get on the Whitsundays sailing trip and then onto Fraser Island. The cost was $519.00 in total for 3 days sailing around the Whitsundays, 2 nights accommodation in Rainbow Beach and then 3 days on Fraser Island. Afterwards we cooked dinner and watched Neighbours and Home & Away. In the evening we got a DVD from reception but the DVD player didn't work in the TV room so we just went back to our dorm room and watched TV for the rest of the evening until we went to bed.
