Finally we have come into contact with the sea!
We arrived by bus to what looked like a beautiful hotel and to our luck it was ours and was really nice with a pool. We wen for a short orientation walk and i was quite surprised by the amount of travellers about. The town is famous for taylor making everything, you can take in a photo of something and they will make it in a day! My dad would of loved it as you could get a taylor made suit for 50 squid bargain.
The first thing me, pat and ryan did was hire a bike and ride down to the beach it was pretty windy with some huge surf which made it too dangerous for any swimming. There were these really annoying ladies that kept trying to flog us stuff but luckily some other suckers came down. WE bought a football and played with some locals again who we found drinking beer on the beach (easy prey)
The day after we went to an orphanage to see the kids to drop off sweets and hotel toiletries. The place was quite hard hitting as there were these really really disabled kids which was \not nice, one was tied to the bed and one with a unimaginably large head. After we went on this great push bike trip through the countryside and got picked up by a boat where we were taken to a private beach where we had a a good bbq but was quite windy. In the evening we did this brilliant cooking class which was a laugh where we cooked Vietnam food. Our chef/tutor was pretty funny and was a obvious fan of our humor. We had to take notes which i didnt enjoy as much as the tutor was quite bossy my spring rolls were damn good! We then retired to a cool bar which was pretty packed with travellers where i made a good decision where i reintroduced myself to bevvies.
Happy days next place is Saigon (hot)
