"6 out of 10, better luck next time..."
We boarded one of the most luxurious buses ever to get from Sevilha to Granada. I mean this thing was better than some planes, we got food, had tv's and more leg room that most family cars. This ment we got to Granada well rested and ready to hit the bars! As soon as we arrived we teamed back up with Ozzie and Ricco too!
Best thing about drinking in Spain, free tapas with every drink. The first night ended up being a big one and a little punk luck kicked in where we meet the owner of the biggest night club in town got free entry and our names on the door until we left town. Next day we just explored, went into the markets and if you have seen the photos I got princess. The pink unicorn. I lost a bet and had to carry it round all day :(.
Granada's main attraction is the Alhambra. It's the most visited site in Spain, to the point where you need to book entry a week in advance. Having already done this we went in and checked it all out. It's basically a 14th century town all confined within massive walls. Some of it had been destroyed by the French but for the most part it's amazing. The Nasrid Palaces, the immaculate gardens and huge guard towers are all unbelievable. The other attraction here is the hot springs. They were a 20 minute drive out of town and the last bit was serious 4wd action. We had to pack our 12 person group in the bunky old rover! Then our little guide preceded to thrash this thing up into the bush. My god I can't believe how hot they were you couldn't stay in longer than 15mins but well worth it.
We spent most of the next nights and days out exploring, enjoying siestas or in bars drinking and eating as much tapas as we could get. It's just so tasty and when it keeps coming for free who needs dinner. Would highly recommend a visit to this town, even just for the food.
