Hi , back again after 2 days of serious sightseeing in Israel, mainly biblical sites and of course prior to that back to 5000BC. The sites are often well restored to, more so than in Greece. Hi to all. Think I last wrote from Crete or Athens. We finished our Greek tour last night and flew to Israel today. We went to 3 islands, all dry scrappy rock places with great whitewashed houses all joined by tiny paths and steps. Then we did 1400 kms in 4 days in a tour bus seeing Ancient sites and ruins in particular Delphi and Olympia all tied into Greek mythology about the Gods like Zeus, Hermes, Athina, Appollo etc. Amazing stories but like the Eygptian o...
