The D Strassenbahn takes me and a whole lot of other tourists to belvedere castle. Prince Eugene called the Schloss home. He did take off and conquer and in doing so made the Austro-Hungarian empire bigger and richer. So he probably needed a whole lot of land to wind down.

The palace now houses a lot of art including the famous Kiss an Judith by Gustav Klimt. They are indeed sublime.

Lots of other incredible Austrian art by Egon Schiele, Oskar Kokoska etc.

Lunch at the Glacis Beisl, a rest and the out on the Strassenbahn to the other side if the city and a walk back to the hotel to rest my weary legs and feet.
