Bangkok. Finally I get to see the Big Apple of South East Asia. I managed to catch a bus from the train station to Khaosan Road, the famous backpacker central. What a wicked place. All of the sudden you feel very safe, without it being over the top touristy. At least not like Vang Viang. I like it a lot! Time to settle in and get my bearings.

I was going to get a train or bus to Kanchanaburi, but all of the sudden that felt like a lot of effort. I had found a place I liked and could see myself staying in for a while. I booked my bus to Koh Pha ngan for the friday. Time to see what I could of Bangkok before then.
