Yesterday was a day of rain, rain, RAIN. Not too bad whe you have a terrible hangover. Marina and I laughed in bed of the happenings from the night before.. we tried these weird tabacco sacks which u put up on your gums.. not a fan very spicey.burny kind of. We didnt do too much yesterday, a little shopping and thta was all. For dinner we left marina asleep in the room and had dinner at a cute indian place (although we ate thai), and we also drank a few cocktails yumm maitai and a pink princess (2 for 1). After dinner marina emerged and we headed down to the cultural festival and tried these weird coconutty pancakes.. Aroi Mak Mak (very tasty).

Today Rik and I woke up early to go rafting and AVTing.. Nang our fearless leader dropped us of at rafting and we set off for some hilarous fun! Lots of splashing, nearling falling out the raft anf cranky tourists complain of getting wet. We met this gorgeous girl named grace who is from Victoria, studing med at Monash! After an amzing lunch we went quad bake riding (AVT). After a quick instructions we mountain our bikes and headed up the mountain.. wow not eay! small paths, waterfalls, tiny steep tracks.. we eventually arrived at the top of a waterfall (even if grace got to the top on the tour guides bike) and swam in the freshwater... Next stop monkey temples where we fed literally 50 monkeys peanuts from our hands.

Dinner tonight was at red chilli where marina ordered a delicious vego pizza and rik and i stuck to the thai food and ordered a yum paenang curry and chicken dish.
