We woke up bright and early excited for our first day of lessons! Italian, Ancient History and Art. After three hours we were ready for a walking tour of Florence- lots of history and culture about Florence to learn about and a visit to Dante's house- the father of the Italian language. Then came what everyone was looking forward to- The Florence markets!!!! Tomorrow will be a similar day with a visit inside the Duomo! What a church!!

After a visit to The Uffizi Gallery, which was very arty, we caught an intercity train to Pisa. A lovely walk through the city took us to the Leaning Tower and after 300+ steps to climb, we made it to the top of the bell tower. What a view!

Well, our bus trip into Florence was very quiet. The majority of the students slept nearly all the way, (we have some sore throats and aching feet) Miss Kizi and Mr Cullerton spent some time marking and I enjoyed some music and candy crush!!! Our hotels keep getting better and better so after checking in we strolled into the historical centre for some exploring- Il Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria, then dinner in a quaint little Italian restaurant. ...

A more relaxing day to finish off our Roman stay- a visit to the Catacombs and EuroRoma- Rome's newest shopping mall! Lots of bags accompanied us on the bus and train back to the hotel! Finally on our last night at our restaurant for dinner, the boys got a photo with our female waitress! Tomorrow Florence! "Arrivederci Roma"

Another jammed packed day in Rome. A guided your of the Roman Forum and the Colosseum- our guide Francesca told us lots of interesting facts about both sites. Then lunch and a visit to the Pantheon- which is now used as a church. What a building! Oh, we also managed to include some shopping!
