It's now 1:24am and I'm still up finalising packing. We have spent our last day in Italy-Milan having such an enjoyable time. We went to mass in the morning and it was so beautiful to hear nearly every student having a go at following and responding to the booklet in Italian. Unfortunately we couldn't get into seeing The Last Supper as all the tickets were sold out, :(. Something to come back to. But we did go inside Il Duomo and what a church that is!! We shopp...

Our Italy stay is nearly coming to an end...:( Yesterday we had a fun day at Gardaland theme park where we experienced many thrilling rides!! Then after a 2 hour drive where many slept after a hectic day, we arrived in Milan. Today,, Sunday, our only full day here we are going to mass then seeing Da Vinci's Last Supper then into the city centre to see Il Duomo and on the students' request.... some last minute shopping. They have had a ball! Italia , sei belliss...

Our full day in Venice started with a great walking tour with the best tour guide we have had all trip. We learnt so much! Lunch, a bit more shopping, a gondola ride, ferry rides, Murano visit and pizza and gelato! Venice is truly a special place. Tomorrow we leave for Gardaland- biggest theme park in Italy then Milano. We are nearly home!!!!

Well our 5 day stay in Florence has come to an end. Today we travelled to Venice with a stop over in beautiful Verona. A visit to Juliet's house, lunch and a stroll through the gorgeous streets. Coming into Venice on the ferry was a sight! Hotel check-in, (slightly different to What we were used to in Florence) quick stroll to get acquainted and dinner. Tomorrow, city tour, gondola ride and Murano- watching some glass blowing!

A blog to start the day We are off to Perugia to get our chocolate fix. I'm sure you will also enjoy what the students will buy there. Then an extra stop in Assisi which is not on the itinerary but really a must to see, so we are including it- last minute! It is such a beautiful city- the town of St. Francis. On one of our other Aquinas tours we fluked our Assisi visit on his feast day- what a special festival we witnessed! Hoping we might be that lucky again.......
