Nha Trang is a beach town, so the first night we headed down to the sea front. We got some food a few streets back and chilled with a beer.
The second day was spent on the beach. We went to a nice bar on the sea front. It was slightly more expensive but well worth the price to use the hammocks and comfy chairs. We headed to some more bars and drank a little too much, with the night ending when the sun came up.
The next day we both felt like we'd been hit by a car, which is quite
possibly true. I don't remember the night that well. After a few hours in bed arguing who was going out to get food we decided to for a KFC to settle our hangovers. Thankfully it worked. We went to book the bus for the next day because in our drunkenness we had forgotten to do it. It was fully booked for the next day so we spent another day by the beach. We had arranged to meet some people from the night before in the evening. Neither of us felt up to it so we went back to the room and watched a film.
The last day was spent on the beach again, still feeling a bit hungover from 2 nights before. After an early dinner we were boring and went to the hotel. I had my first shave in nearly 3 months.
The bus didn't leave until 5pm the next day so we checked out as late as possible. We walked along the beach and found a cafe to chill at and do a bit of reading with a coffee. We caught the bus, that was late again. Our seats were right at the back. Basically one big bed that seated 5 people. It was me and James, a Vietnamese guy and then a Chilean couple. I got to know the Vietnamese guy a little too well trying to sleep next to him. James drank a little bit too much coffee during the day and couldn't sleep. It took just over 13 hours to get to Hoi An. We got a taxi to our hotel, luckily our room was ready in the morning so we checked in straight away. Apparently we had booked a double bed but they changed us to twins.
