Hi Everyone!
So after 252 days of travelling and volunteering I am on the last day of my amazing trip! I can’t believe that I will be coming back to the UK tomorrow! These last 9 months have gone so fast! I am currently in Los Angeles at the moment after travelling around Los Angeles, San Francisco, Colorado and Arizona with my sister, who met me in Los Angeles, 2
weeks ago after my last volunteer project in Costa Rica.
So that brings me to the end of my volunteering and travelling over these past 9 months. It has been a truly amazing experience and I can't believe that it is over, it has flown by! I have had the opportunity to meet some pretty amazing people and seen some incredible things!
I would like to give a massive thanks to my family and friends and all of the amazing people that I have met along the way for making my 9 month volunteer adventure so special and to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba for giving me this incredible opportunity and for using me as His instrument on this incredible journey.
I just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you who have been keeping in touch through the blog and for posting all of your kind messages. Thanks also to everyone who has been reviewing the blog.................. all 1,565 of you and still counting (which is pretty incredible considering that I only know less than 1/3 of this number of people!). It is fantastic to see that so many people have been interested in the volunteering and travels and I hope you have all enjoyed the journey as much as I have! I hope this blog has been fun, informative and entertaining for you all to read.
And if you are thinking of volunteering, all I have to say is...... DO IT! It is not as difficult as you may first imagine and it really is huge amount of fun!
Until next time..........whenever that will be.......... and I shall leave you with a quote that has been inspirational to me;
“Be the change that you want to see in the world.” - Mahatma Ghandi
Thank you all for keeping a beady eye on me using my blog and I hope to catch up with everyone in the near future as soon as I get back to the UK.
All the best and take care!
Prashant
