Ok, so everyone keeps moaning - keep it updated powelly, so here goes - for all you whingers back home!!

Saturday 6th December 2008;

I went to Philip Island to see the penguin parade. So off i went all on my lonesome! We took a coach tour and stopped off firstly for a litttle wine tasting! i'll be honest - it wasn't good! Nice place though.

We then went on to the wildlife reserve where we fed koalas and kangas and such like. this is where they had the pirate ship!

Next stop was a stretch of beach known as Cape Woolamai, so we had a little beach walk, very exciting stuff. The we stopped off at the Chocolate factory shop, which was rubbish. the sign clearly said free tasters, was there heck as like?!!

Then we went on to the Nobbies where we watched for seals - none turned up, but there were a lot of birds nesting and some pretty smart views. Finally we made it to the Penguin Parade, waiting on the beach (with my new found friends!) in the dark and it was pretty chilly for the penguins to swim ashore and watched them walk up the beach past us to nest. Pretty cool trip but not allowed to take pics of penguins sorry :(

So that was pretty much in a nutshell Saturday.

Sunday 7th December 2008.

Another trip for Powelly!

Up at 7.00am for the Great Ocean Road tour, Stopping off several times on the way to see the awesome beaches, the lighthouse at Split Point, the Otways rainforest walk, 12 appostles(where i took a flaming awesome trip in a helicopter), loch ard gorge and to spot Koalas in the wild. Once again pretty cool day met lots of cool people too.

Monday 8th december 2008:

Went into the town today. Walked around the local Aquarium (a little naff to be honest). Took a long walk down by the river to see the botanical gardens. And in the evening much to my embarrassment i went on the free Neighbours trip, solely to get pictures for my brother.. see facebook chris! I have to say i actualy had a good time again i went on my own but sat with some cool chicks.
