Up at 6:45 to leave the apartment by 7:45, but its actually 8:10 by the time we're out the door. It's super nice, and cold in the morning in Paris, I love it and Heather is shivering. We need a taxi to the Gare Lyon train station, so we started walking South to the Louvre hoping to catch one on the way, but it takes all but the last block before we find one, and then some rude dude tries to walk up and take it after we obviously flagged it down...really?

Apparently it's 10E for a taxi anywhere in this town (or at least that's the way it has worked out for us with the 3 different taxi's we've taken from 3 different parts of town at 3 different times of the day). The taxi driver isn't sure exactly where the right terminal is for the train to Disney, but he was helpful otherwise, so once in the station it takes talking to about 5 people and going up 2 floors in the wrong direction before we finally find someone who can tell us where to go...the signage in this country sucks. And our luggage is too big, we've already decided we are buying smaller luggage for Christmas presents to ourselves. The train ride sucks, it's crowded and we have too much stuff, but Heather has lost her patience for rude French people and doesn't care how many dirty looks she gets, she's firing them right back!

Its 10:40 by the time we get off the train at Disney, and of course there is more crappy signage and absolutely no information booths or people to help...definitely not the first impression you'd expect from Disney. So we end up wandering around almost aimlessly for 45 minutes and get 4 different sets of answers/directions from 4 people before we finally end up on a Disney bus to our hotel, which ends up being only like 300 yards away around the corner...which of course really makes us upset that we just wasted all that time.

Check-in at the hotel is fast, friendly, and convenient; with a baggage hold until later in the day when the room will be ready. To a back hallway to change into the Princess dress, we have lunch with the princesses at 12 noon and its 11:35 now. So we hightail it out of the hotel and to the park which is about a 7 minute walk to the gates, and another 7 minutes to the castle in the center of the park. We're promptly shown in and greeted by Suzy and Perla (the mice from Cinderella), followed by Cinderella and Prince Charming, who are both super sweet and spend a good 5 minutes with Maclaren. She gets to dance with both of them, give them kisses, and got their autographs. Next its Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) who is complimentary of MD's Cinderella dress but is sad that she isn't wearing an Aurora dress :(

Snow White came for a visit next and was perhaps the nicest of them all. By this time the food had arrived and Maclaren was in desperate need of a nap, so the crankiness came out, but thankfully she finally laid down and passed out across a couple of chairs (during the lunch, but the princesses were already gone)...Perla came back and had some fun with her though :)

Almost 2:30p by the time we leave the lunch and get into the park, it is busy but not overly crowded, plus I have done a good amount of research on what rides are best to ride at what times of the day, so we set off to ride as many rides in the rest of our day as possible:

- Adventure Island
- Mad Hatter's Tea Cups (Dadday and MD only)
- Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast
- The Passages of Aladdin
- Main Street America

And to finish the night out, the Disney Dream show (lights, lasers, smoke, fire, fireworks, water effects, etc) on Cinderella's Castle. The show phenomenal and everything you'd expect from a full-on Disney production.
