We are beat from Disney, so we decide to sleep in and catch up on some much needed rest. The room is blessedly dark and quiet, thankfully! because last night was a huge party in Paris to celebrate the first day of summer. I went out to the grocery store after we arrived at the hotel last night to pick up some bottled water and snacks...the streets were nuts! Literally every person in Paris under the age of 35 was on the streets partying, even saw a huge rock conc...

Woke up this morning feeling like a zombie, but it's our last day at Disney and we've decided to make a full day out of it, planning on leaving around 4 or 5 back to Paris. We cancelled the day trip to Reims (champagne country) last night by executive decision...would be far too much to try to fit in on this trip, perhaps if Heather wasn't pregnant and we could both enjoy the champagne...In the park at 10:30, dropped Heather and MD off at the Rapunzel...

Holy cow! Yesterday was a long day! We wanted to get up early and utilize the "extra magic hours pass" but that didn't happen...we were lucky to get up and out the door by 10. Breakfast at the hotel is terrible, but what can you expect from a place that is serving about 2000 people in a 4 hour period? I really thought we were going to be back on our game once we got to Disney....ohhhhhh how I underestimated how much life Disney drains out of you in 1 day...I ...

Up at 6:45 to leave the apartment by 7:45, but its actually 8:10 by the time we're out the door. It's super nice, and cold in the morning in Paris, I love it and Heather is shivering. We need a taxi to the Gare Lyon train station, so we started walking South to the Louvre hoping to catch one on the way, but it takes all but the last block before we find one, and then some rude dude tries to walk up and take it after we obviously flagged it down...really? ...

Moving slow today, our hectic schedule has caught up to Heather, so we decide to lay back down and take another couple hours of sleep and just deal with the crowds instead of running ourselves into the dirt.Out the door by 11 instead of 7:30, breakfast is a stop to the grocery store bakery for a couple of croissants and coffees. The train to Versailles is on the other side of the river directly adjacent to Notre Dame Cathedral...it's a pretty good hike and He...
