we woke up this morning to the sound of rain drops on Clancy, and after a warm shower and a cup coffee we are ready to hit the road again, but what a wonderful two days we had in Denali NP, I am really running out of superlatives to describe the wilderness and beauty of this corner of the world. We were blessed with two sunny days here in Denali, and saw over 20 grizzly bears, Mums and Cubs, Caribou, Moose, Wolf, Fox, Lynx, and Big horn sheep, Arctic squirrels...

We are staying at a beautiful B&B in Fairbanks, a large 3 story home in a beautiful setting just outside of Fairbanks, from our room we can see the Alaskan ranges and Mt McKinley would be there if only it would come out of the clouds, this morning we were treated to a breakfast of homemade quiche, banana and orange bread, homemade yogurt and blueberries and of course hot coffee and juice, yum.

Sunday, 7 August 2011 Tok, Alaska - Fairbanks, Alaska The morning in Tok was cool so we dawdled a little, had hot showers and breakfast then off to the Tok Visitor Centre, a drink for Clancy and some ice for the esky. Saturday, 6 August 2011 Kluane, Haines Crossing - Tok, Alaska This morning the rain had eased enough for a hot breakie. So we heated up the water and cleaned up Clancy to head off.
