Having had a late night the evening before we slept in till 10h30 after which we headed to MBK, a mall very popular with Thai students and also cheaper than many other shops who try to take advantage of unsuspecting foreigners. Taking the local bus we arrived there and did some windowshopping for around 3 hours before succumbing and buying two jackets with detachable inner fleece and waterproof jacket outer and some souvenirs.
From here we made our way back as we needed to go for a second fitting for the suit and coat. Unfortunately the bus dropped us off at Khao San road and we had to walk back about 3km to the shop. The suit fit me quite well although some minor adjustments were necessary, however Leanne's coat was not so well tailored and one pocket needed to be shifted more to the front, the buttons were slanted and it bulged a little in the front. Having been assured by them that all the adjustments would be made we headed back to our accommodation to plan our activities for the next day.
Later the night we ventured to Khao San road again, browsing through the shops, once more Bangkok shopping got the better of us. T-Shirts, bracelet, flags of where we had been and a walking stick all added to the Bangkok shopping list which had by now grown to a stage where both of us were convinced the tap needed to be closed. We headed back to KL Guest house, chatted with the parents until 01h30 before getting some well deserved sleep.
