Today we postponed the dive, Dell informed me at 06h00 this morning (yes we were asleep) that the technician will be coming to the island and will meet me at 14h00. We head down to breakfast and spend the rest of the morning reading up on the wreck and night dive which were planned for tomorrow. 12h00 the technician calls me to inform me that he is early, suits me fine. Dell promised me a new improved motherboard and chip, not the case - I get the same model, the technician only takes the laptop apart in the restaurant (5m from the see) and if I mean takes apart then I mean it literally, by the time he put in the motherboard and chip, the LCD, fan, heat sink, keyboard, hard disk, CD writer and modem were lying stretched out on the table. At this stage I am already irritated taking into consideration this is not exactly good assembling conditions and I didn't get the parts promised to me.

Laptop assembled and working, using the receptionist as our translator much to the restaurants amusement we arrange to meet at 20h00 for me to sign the documentation, which he doesn't want me to sign right away, still don't know why.

Irritated I head to Leanne relaxing at the beach trying to read a book but showing the signs of the excessive heat and humidity. We head in for a dip in the lukewarm water before heading up to share a fruit platter.

The evening we head to Amelia's, the one with the nice fish BBQ. We wait for 45 minutes to receive our food, after 10 minutes of enjoying the meal Leanne reminds me that I should have met Sharool (the Dell technician) at 20h00! I shoot up and run to the restaurant, only to find he has left, apparently walking up to my flat, I run up the 40 000 steps only to find it vacant. Back at reception the lady informs me that he is staying at Maya's, in a flash I'm there, Sharool meets me outside his flat and informs me that not only must I sign documents but he also needs to take photos as proof for Dell. My frustration mounting we head up to the flat where I sign the documents and he starts taking 20 photos just so that Dell are convinced he did work on it.

I head down to find Leanne on her way back, evidently irritated at me leaving her at the restaurant for 40 minutes while she had no idea what could take so long - I was only supposed to sign papers. Both experiencing a heightened sense of irritation we head up to our accommodation to complete our reading for tomorrow. Today was our 1 year 3 month anniversary!
