After Chaing Mai I stayed in bangkok for quite a few days and hung out with people who were stranded there because of the protests. After that I've been surprisingly busy on Ko Tao doing my open water diving certification which allows me to dive to 18m and then 2day doing a deep dive at 30m!! Having an amazing time on this island, there's so many people who've come for a holiday or stop off through travelling and just never left (yes, i am debating it as well ha)!!! I pinky promise i'm updating my blog 2moro properly...the weather has been so good and have dived for 6 days so not had chance.
Lots of love Pips xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Phil, just catching up to see how the diving lessons are going, you should be on your third day by now and trying out the proper diving sites (with real sharks). See if anyone can take your picture when you are diving to give us some action shots. I have ordered a new camera which takes an SD card. We will get it to Amelia before she flys. Take care, all our love XXXXXXX

Hi Pippa,
This is Adrian, you may remember me, I tried to persuade you to become a Barrister but I see the attractions of travel in the Orient beat me to it. Theres still time! I saw your dad last night at one of those Life on Mars dinners in central London. He was in good form and told me of the travels of the prodigal daughter. It sounds and looks wonderful. Come to think of it I think i did say that if you didnt enter the law travel was the next best thing.
Bon voyage

Hi Pippa, so glad to get another message from you at last, Dad rang me to say you were just functioning on facebook - so glad you're back with the 'plebs' who don't have the honour of being on faceb0ook. Sound as though you are still having a wonderful time, too wonderful on the pub scene - I have reserved you a place at A.A. for when you come back -you little monkey. I can understand you being sad to be parting from your friends, but you will have learnt a lot about survival skills, and be quite street wise about the do's and don'ts and what to look out for - but best if you cut down a bit on the pubs perhaps? - I know, "stop worrying you old person" Take care my love, I love you lots, hugs and kisses, Jeannie xx
Pippa

Hi Pippa, I am having difficulty reading the messages, so I'm doing mine in bold. Just had a happy half-hour reading your blog,nd re-watching the side show of your wonderful photos, particularly your sun -set photos - they remind me of my time in Indonesia, Malaysia Singapore and Bali - and that was a long time ago. Very cold, windy, & guess what, rain here, lots of it. Sue been tonight to have tea with me, Chris is in Geneva - I made shepherds pie, Yorkshires and onion gravy, with peas.now you won't have eaten that for a while. Well bye for now darling, keep well and safe - I don't think there is any need whatsoever to put enjoy!!!!! Lots of love and hugs - miss youxxxxxx

Hi Pip just catching up on all the gossip things seem to be going well.....beginning to wish I was going somewhere like Nha Trang for a holiday sounds brilliant......have to add it to my retirement gap year list!!! Penny says to say hello she's hating the damp grey weather here, you know what a sun seeker she is....could be a SAD lamp for Christmas. Look after yourself and keep enjoying it. Iain xx
