Day 32
Today is a lazy day... It's our last in Hanoi and we've seen everything we want to see....
We just wonder the streets and end up having lunch on tiny plastic stools cooking our own meat on a camping stove that's in a plastic table that's a foot off the ground....
The meats really good, as is the veg that came with it.... It all tastes good and we enjoy this meal, watching the works go by at a child's hight....
I've decided I want to get all our gear onto the bike to make sure everything fits on ok....
We load the bags onto the rack and it all fits on great...
I have now decided it would be nice to fit a battery to the bike so the horn works and have found one up the roads for 120.000d with it around £6
We fit this and the electrical system is now much happier, as am I. Horn use is a given here as it's used to let people know your here..... It's far more polite than at home, but much noisier.....
I also get some rope from a local shop and feel ready to depart tomorrow morning...
I've done everything I can to ensure the bike performs without trouble so from now on what will be will be....
We walk back to the same building that we visited the other day with the roof top bar....
This time we go to a coffee shop 2 floors lower and have a much nicer experience..... The coffee and cake are great and the views just as good....
We head back to the hotel early to start planning a route out of town.... The roads outside the old quarter are just as busy as within the old quarter, but with many more larger vehicles..... I'm not looking forward to actually leaving Hanoi, but in the same breath, I'm ready to go now.....
Alarms set we head off to bed....
