Day 31
We wake up and walk to the top deck for another great breakfast.... We could get used to this type of life style quite easily... The boat starts moving pretty much as soon as we sit down....
It's taking us back to Halong..... Today's our last day, and we'll both be sorry to get back into the minibus.... Our little piece of luxury has been well needed and will come in stark contrast to some places we may yet end up staying in..
The trip back involves going to a extra activity that Indochina take all there guests too.... Its a water puppet show.... Great I thought !! We just paid to see one.....
I just want to get back to the hotel now, so when we came off the main road back to Hanoi and started traveling on small, slow little roads to the puppet show and I wasn't really interested in being there.. I'd got a head ache and the shows performance involved singing which was loud, and wasn't helping...
It's a real shame we had seen the show in Hanoi as this show was actually done traditionally in the rice fields and the puppets were in much better condition....
The show followed the same basic platform as the Hanoi show but was shorter... It was a very good effort and Shiree enjoyed it...
Once back in the minibus we head straight for Hanoi... And 2 hrs later we arrive... We are now back at the same hotel as before, but this time we have a cheaper room.... The irony is this room was nicer.... It has a jacuzzi bath and a heated toilet heat... Neither of which I've experienced before...
We head out to buy more French stick and cheese and watch film whilst having dinner in our hotel room....
Then off to bed.
