We left Auntie Marie and the guys this morning, to get the train to Melbourne, we had a lovely chilled out 2 weeks (including lots of wine!) We also had a road trip with Auntie Marie and the kids to Great Ocean Road, we stayed in a little village called Gellibrand in a cabin which was brand new it was awesome. The first day we drove from Traralgon to Apollo Bay via Great Ocean Road, which is really nice to see, spectacular view of ocean and bays, etc (we also seen a koala!). The next day we went into the Otway Ranges and done the 'Tree top walk' they have, you walk right through the forest on pathways right up in the trees as well as 2 different waterfalls that were stunning and a forest of red wood trees which were beautiful not to mention huge!. It also was raining that day and we seen some massive hailstones! The third day we the rest of Great Ocean Road to see all the tourist attractions, like 12 apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, London Bridge, etc. They were facinating and good photo opportunities! Take a look at the pics, 'cause I simply can't describe them! It was a good road trip and made me look forward to the rest of my travels in Australia. In Traralgon we also visited Tarra Bulga National Park, which is a lovely walk through Australian bush, we didnt see anything but there is koalas, Lyre birds, supposedly a panther! and oh yeah we seen a little Echidna (like a big hedgehog!). So we have a couple of days here in Melbourne, planning to go see the 'Neighbours' cast however it's fully booked (story of my life!) will have to do that one on the way back from Perth. I am gonna try to book seats for Cirque du Soliel, but won't build my hopes up cause it's prob fully booked ha ha. Take care Love & Peace Ellise xxx
