I was so ill when I arrived at Sydney so I slept most of the day. On the night I took a walk to 'Sydney Opera House' and 'Sydney Harbour Bridge'. Steven wanted to meet us for a drink, so we walked to 'Darling Harbour' as well. I was reluctant as he knew we had booked into a hostel and wasn't exactly talking us out of it and telling us to stay with him so felt a bit unwelcome and in the way from the start. All round it was a good stay though and I suppose it would of been selfish of us to stay with them whilst full of flu and nice for Matt to spend time with family he never really sees (or knows).?
?The week was spent sightseeing mainly. I went to the aquarium, Manly, Taronga zoo, markets, the set of 'Home & Away' and of course Luna Park! I also went to a bar called 'Minus 5, which was actually minus 18 when you got inside! The whole bar, chairs, tables and statues were made of ice, even the glasses you drank out of were ice. They rigged you out in?big woolly coats, snow boots and gloves, give you a drink voucher and said "you got half an hour!"?
?Sydney is an amazing city I could definatly live there there is sooooo much to do, see, eat and drink! The highlight of my trip had to be when I went to see the theatre production of 'Pricilla Queen of the Desert'. It was fantastic, as good as the film, hillarious all the way through and they had even added some more legendary songs for you to sing and dance your hearts out to which I did, you would be the odd one out if you stayed sitting down!
We left to go to Port Stevens on Tuesday 15th May.
