Right, Im starting to get acclimatised to the area, not so tired anymore but still a little disorientated! Been here only 2 nights (i think!) but feels like ages in a way... We've moved closer to the centre of Bangkok -or at least the cultural and travelling centre- since yesterday, and its much more interesting here. We've been doing the cultural things, visiting the Grand Palace and temples and the like, but you'll see that when i put photos up. BARGAINS so far: Lunch yesterday: 15 Baht (22p?). We got some noodles from a stall on Khao San Road... 25p! thats like a mars bar or something. 3 man room with fan and bathroom: 150 baht each per night (2.20 pounds)! Its a nice enough room, and it doesnt even have cockroaches! (altho it does have J and Sam in it) Tuk Tuk 'tour': 15 baht (22p)- this is my favourite one! The guy took us around some sites around the city for about 2 hours! The catch was that he also took us to a tailors who tried to make us buy suits. We declined, and he seemed to get angry until he somehow thought that he had racially abused me and J and apologised loads, giving us a talk on how all people are equal! Anyway, prob gonna have another night tonight of sitting on mats on the floor outside drinking beer and chatting to people... Keep in Touch Si
