I left my bungalow after another sleepless night to go snorkelling out at Mnemba Atoll.About 18 of us, divers included got into the tiny traditional dhow and travelled for about an hour and half across the ocean.We couldn't move around and by the end of it I was starting to feel a little sick.

When we reached the site I got straight in the water and started taking photos with my underwater camera.The coral and fish were really beautiful.Towards the end of the first session I remembered that I had learnt to deep dive with a snorkel on my dive course, so I did that for a bit and got some really good pictures.

We got to the second site and I paired up with George, who could also deep dive and we proceeded to take underwater photos of each other.I managed to get some fantastic photos of the coral and fish in this area.

After we had finished snorkelling we got back on the boat and went back to Zanzibar.We had dinner back at the hotel and I have realised that it is always best to order pizza in Africa, it seems to be the only westernised dish they know how to cook.

During dinner the power went off again and they switched the generator power, greatno air con again.When I went to bed, I woke up about an hour later and attacked the fuse box, and managed to jerry rig the air con in our room so it worked.Ben you would have been proud!It did however, make all the lights in the compound flicker for the rest of the night.I did, finally have a decent sleep, despite my guilt about causing all power on the island to fail.
