Finally, today I kept my promise and had a rest. I spent most of the day inside watching TV. Except for a two hour spell in the afternoon when I went down to the river and laid on the grass in the sunshine.

It was a beautiful day, just the right temperature, I spread out my jacket and laid down with my head in the shade of the tree and stuck in my headphones and actually feel asleep for a bit in the cool breeze. I stayed there for what seemed like ages contemplating the decisions which led me here to this pretty little city, living this absolutely amazing life.

I went back to the hotel for a bit more TV watching and then decided to go out for dinner. I walked up to the old town and had dinner in the outdoor area of a pub, listening to the music coming from the main square. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxing. After dinner I found my way back to the hotel by another quicker path, which I think I will be using next time. Off to Vilnius tomorrow.
