Yesterday afternoon, we went on that tour that took us around 2 of the major temples just north of where we are staying. The Tanah Lot is the most famous one and the other one... ummmm... I don't even know the name cos when you ask the guide, he says it really fast and you just have to smile and nod like you understood after you have asked him to repeat himself 4 times! Hahaha... Anyway, Tanah Lot Temple is most famous for it's sunsets, but wouldn't you know it - it was RAINING! Can't complain though only that 2 days have been ordinary but it was still a beautiful sight - got some great pics too! We also went to the Monkey Forest - it was great! We went through the gates and were just walking along, not really paying attention, past all the makeshift shops and all of a sudden I am about 2cm away from stepping on a monkey - I got the shock of my life! And everyone laughed at me, must have looked like the bigest idiot - the monkey just looked up at me like a dope after I squeeled aloud, HA! Also got some great photos of them on our shoulders - again, not expecting them to jump on was I?! Harry had one little mate to grabbed onto his shorts and walked the whole way 'round with him. Good times! Last night we met up with Belinda Dunn and Matt Temby (some old friends from primary/high school) and had dinner with them at Tubes - got a photo on the big wave, hope it turned out ok! Tonight we are meeting them again for dinner at our local restaurant, 'Legian Garden' - the guys at the restaurant will be sad to see us go I think, wonderful people! Today was great, got heaps of shopping done and we are almost done! Tomorrow we have a late checkout so we are planning to complete our shopping, have a big rest and move out of our room by 6pm Bali time, before our transport comes at 7.30 for our 10.15pm flight. Not looking forward to a cricked neck on Friday morning and embarassing dribble puddles and stains from an interesting sleeping angle!
