Went surfing at Serangan again today. A little on the large side for me, so I paddled out, tried for a few but it was too big and mean for me to really have a go on - so I caught one in! Well, at least I got ONE right?! Haz had a great surf, it was perfect for him. Miles, one of the Pommy guys who came along with us today almost died when he go run over by this old guy who was rather territorial - fun to watch actually, he is so new to surfing, has no control of his board - or himself for that matter and was so shocked when this old guy went over him, funny. We actually checked out 2 other spots on the east coast before settling with Serangan again. We were wanting to go somewhere different, but Sri Lanka (the Bali one) was too small and Nusa Dua was tooooooo big and nasty looking, however Nusa Dua is such a beautiful place - that Temple on the Point is unreal! Other than that, nothing else cos we were so b*****ed afterwards, we ordered room service for lunch and watched a DVD, it was lovely. It is way too hot to go out in the sun in the middle of the day here, so it's nice to go back to room service in our 17 degree Celcius air-conditioned room for a while! We are thinking about going White Water Rafting again... We spoke to some really nice people near our hotel and they are giving us an awesome deal if we want it. We payed a little over $AU60 for our first go, but this will be different, harder rapids and will only cost us $AU30! We loved it so much I think we really might look into it again! We are addicted! Speaking of which, all of the people in the street just down from Haz & I call us the Honeymooners... so funny. No matter how many times we tell them we aren't married they still just call us that! One guy even said, "well if you two aren't married, then does that mean she's available"? Harry said "yep, good price, special price for you"... HAHAHA That's it for us! Selamat Jalan, H & P x x x
