Rose went to a Women's revival crusade organized by Kings Church (COC) in Kununurra on Saturday. It was held outside on their new block with just some shade organized by the men. Had a speaker from Melbourne and Katherine and their local people speaking, by all accounts it was pretty good. I washed the van and just had a good day.
Sunday went to Kings Church in the morning. I organized a powered site at the caravan park, our batteries were down again the second time we have plugged in since we have been away. Went to Lakeside Caravan park in the evening for their special Sunday night veal parmgiana, a treat for Rosemary's birthday.
This morning we did a bit of cleaning up and shopping then headed east. Stopped and had a look around Timber Creek, met a couple of travelers who were manning the pretty comprehensive museum. The museum had been closed due to a lack of a volunteer to open it so this couple have parked their motorhome there and are keeping it open for a couple of weeks, so we were lucky to have been able to look around. It is very hot.
We are in the camp at the Victoria River Roadhouse tonight $12.00, it's pretty good. The river is magnificent, pity there are salt water crocs making you very wary.
