The past two days in Sieam Reap have been amazing, we have made a tuc tuc driver fried and his name is Kim, yesterday he picked us up at 9am and we spent the whole day visiting the impressive temples of Ankor, they were really amazing, I was expecting a few temples scattered about but there are over 50 buildings and they are spread out over 20km, we spent the morning visiting a few less famous ruins but soon enough we meet up with the thousands of other tourists doing the same thing as the temples got bigger so did the crowds, we had some lunch and then we tought we sould check out Ankor Wat as we were planning on seeing it for sunrise, so after lunch we got to Ankor Wat and it was no where near as amazing has I had imagined it to be, it was nice but there were at least 2 thousand people walking around, we walked in and out and we said we will leave it for sunrise tomorrow by this time the sun was beginning to set and we went up to see a temple up on a mountain, we walked up and again we were meet by lots of tourists so we got back to the tuc tuc and made our way back to our hotel, last night we went out of diner and meet a young couple from Liverpool and they have the most amazing English accent, from diner we went and had a massage I was really tiered I fell asleep a few times during the massage and had to get woken up a few times.
Today was a early start the sun rises at 5am here and our tuc tuc driver came to pick us up at 4 30 am by 4 45am we were out the front of Ankor Wat we were among the 1st people there and I was pretty glad that we were now going to miss the tourists and we had about 30mins until the sun was up and then out of now where the busses started comeing it was still to dark to take a decent photo and with in 20min there were people every where so we didn't even bother going into the temple and the sun rise really wasn't that impressive but our tuc tuc driver took us to some other temples and these were absolutely amazing we were the only people there and there was no one trying to sell us things and I could lust wonder around and be amazed by the immense beauty of these building and imagine what this place was like when it was a busy city at its prime, from here we went to a few more temples and it felt like we owned them they were all deserted we wondered on and off the walking trails and found some amazing spots and got some really great photos, this didn't last to long by 8 30 the busses had now cought up an the tourists pured out, but I was happy I got to experience the ruins in piece and quiet and I had now seen enough and was ready to go back we saw a few more ruins along the way and were back at the hotel around 11am I went straight to sleep and I had the best nap in a long time I finally managed to wake up and it was now 1 30 and I went out for lunch and skyped mum, and here I am Daniel has just appeared he went to go and get another massage and his just having some lunch now, tomorrow were going to go and visit some floating villages with our tuc tuc driver so we are going to be out and about most of the day, we still need to organise getting to Bangkok on wendsday.
